  30. Please forgive me if the question is more complicated than
  31. it appears, I'm not an expert.  But, is there some reason
  32. that you don't like the emulator that Kermit provides?

  34. It's at least as easy to configure as Telix - even easier if
  35. you use the zipped *.ini files in mvibm.zip.  You just need
  36. to change maybe as many as 5 lines in mscustom.ini, and
  37. you're on your way.

  39. I've used them both.  Kermit takes up less space for the
  40. necessary files and gives easier access to the best file
  41. transfer protocol there is.

  43.  And the help and support is unrivaled.  Besides, the Dos
  44. emulators I've come across don't give true DEC emulation for
  45. half-intensity video (for example).   Kermit does so much,
  46. and you don't need to touch even one of the 85 batch files.
